The wine is excellent. Difficult to find a bad meal. Opera magical. Coffee excellent.
Far too many stairs in the Metro and distances between stations with presumed correspondence too far by half. Might as well have walked to your destination!
French girls all very svelte but in turn smoke like an old " chemin de fer". But such wonderful derrières! OMG.
Far too much French spoken! Almost as bad as trying to understand someone in Dublin.
It costs to pee here! An interesting concept. Makes you appreciate the freedom to pee in our constitution!
Overall a grand time was had by all - especially after discovering the champagne and brandy bar on the Rue Duphot!
Even discounting the Napoleonic evidences and architecture scattered over the face of Paris evidence of France's former empire is visible in the faces of many French speaking Africans and orientals from former French Indochina and Africa!
Colonialism is very much in evidence.
