We pray for Republicans whose speech spews hate and lies - Hoping for more civilised discourse in Congress.

Oh Lord Place a guard upon their Hearts and give discretion to their lips that their conversation may be modest, charitable and truthful...

In some instances, this may even be a heavy lift for God...(e.g. MTG, etc.)

Collect

Pour forth, we beseech you, O Lord,
your grace into our hearts,
that we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ your Son
was made known by the message of an Angel,
may by his Passion and Cross
be brought to the glory of his Resurrection.

Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit

one God, for ever and ever.

Tempus ad est gratiae, Hoc quod optabamus; Carmina laetitiae, Devote redamus.	It is now the time of grace That we have desired; Let us sing songs of joy, Let us give devotion.
Deus homo factus est, Natura mirante; Mundus renovatus est A Christo regnante.	God was made man, And nature marvels; The world was renewed By Christ who is King.
